This is a very exciting time for Linlithgow Rugby Club, having just been awarded a £225,000 grant by Sports Scotland towards a proposed new indoor training facility, to include a new strength and conditioning suite.
Fielding two (potentially three) Senior XVs, drawn from a young squad of predominantly home grown talent, and having a very strong mini and youth section (which includes running all the rugby for Linlithgow Academy), the Club is at a critical stage in its development and ready to move on to the next level.
The vacancy exists for an enthusiastic new Head Coach to be predominantly responsible for the senior teams and to work with the Club’s full time Development Officer and a group of committed volunteers to develop the Club and the players within it.
Candidates will ideally be qualified to Level 2 UKCC and be working towards or be keen to develop to Level 3. Enthusiasm, drive and commitment are essential qualities, along with the ability to motivate and challenge a group of young players keen to develop themselves.
Time commitment includes Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturdays, with occasional further involvement with the youth sections.
Appropriate remuneration and/or expenses will be considered for the right candidate.
Please send your rugby CV to [email protected] with a covering email as to why you think this opportunity would be right for you and you for it.
