Rugby region: Tayside and Fife

Map of Tayside and FifeThe Tayside and Fife region is made up of four local authority areas:

  • Angus
  • Dundee City
  • Fife
  • Perth and Kinross.

Scottish Rugby offers coaching and development support to the region’s 22 active rugby clubs, as well as 312 primary schools, 47 secondary schools, five independents and three universities.

There are 1816 adults registered to play rugby in the area and 3506 youths, of which 213 are girls.

Developing rugby in the Tayside and Fife

Graham Lindsay is Scottish Rugby’s regional development manager for Tayside and Fife. Graham took up post after four years of working in Scottish Rugby's coach development department. Before this Graham was a development officer in Falkirk for two years.

Scottish Rugby also has eight development officers and a number of community coaches working in the Tayside and Fife community.
