RugbyReady Practical Course

Why Rugby Ready?

The RugbyReady is a course that has been designed to update coaches on important information from both an IRB and Scottish Rugby perspective, whether that be around laws, age banding, player welfare or equipment. The course also addresses contemporary issues in the game providing opportunity for coaches to upskill on areas such as the tackle, breakdown and scrum.

As a result all coaches, teachers and referees must complete the RugbyReady Practical each season before working with players in Scotland.

For the 2015-16 season, Scottish Rugby will be introducing a new online e-learning course that will replace the RugbyReady Practical course.  Information on this new course will be communicated to clubs and schools in August 2015.
