Glasgow Warriors first game of the new GUINNESS PRO12 season against defending champions Leinster at Scotstoun Stadium will be played on Saturday 6 September at 5.15pm.
The repeat of last season’s final will be shown live on Sky Sports as part of a double header of GUINNESS PRO12 action on the opening weekend, with Ulster’s trip to face the Scarlets being televised live earlier in the day.
Sky Sports will be showing 33 live matches from the GUINNESS PRO12 next season on Saturday’s as part of a new four-year deal, meaning games will be shown live nationally for the first time.
The Warriors will be on Sky Sports five times in the GUINNESS PRO12 before Christmas, including their trips to face the Dragons on Saturday 20 September (kick-off 2.40pm) and Ulster on Saturday 11 October (kick-off 5.05pm).
Connacht will visit Scotstoun in Round 4 on Friday 26 September and the Warriors will host Benetton Treviso on Friday 31 October and both these games will kick-off at 7.35pm and will not be televised.
The Sky Sports cameras will be at Scotstoun when Munster visit on Saturday 20 December and for the 1872 Cup clash with Edinburgh Rugby on Saturday 27 December, with both games kicking off at 2.40pm.
The dates and kick-off times up to Round 13 have been confirmed, with further fixture details set to be announced in November.
Details of secondary broadcasters for Glasgow away games will be released in the near future.
Limited season ticket memberships are still available, which is the only way to secure your seat at Scotstoun for all 11 GUINNESS PRO12 games and the European Rugby Champions Cup matches against Montpellier, Bath and Toulouse.
Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys said: “We’re really excited that our games will be covered live by Sky Sports and BBC ALBA next season.
"Our preference has always been to play games on Friday nights at Scotstoun but we know this isn’t always possible and having Sky Sports on board for the first time is an exciting development, not just for the club but for the league as a whole.
“We’d like to thank our supporters for helping us achieve record season ticket sales, which have almost reached 3,000 and we look forward to welcoming our supporters back to Scotstoun to support the team against Harlequins later this month.”
