Scotland under-16s defeated by Wales Celts

Scotland under-16s second game at the 2015 BMW Wellington International Festival ended in defeat to Wales Celts.

The Welsh side ran in three tries in the first half and five in the second period to run out 48-0 winners.

Earlier in the day it was announced that Callum Cruickshank had pulled out of the Festival due to injury and had been replaced by Gregor Nelson from George Watson's College, who was named amongst the replacements.

Wales were 19-0 up at half-time, despite some good passages of play by Roddy Dean's side in the first half.

However, missed tackles and good handling by Wales Celts saw them run in seven tries to record a comfortable result.

Scotland's final game at the Wellington Festival is against England South West at 12.45pm on Saturday.
