Struan Dewar

Struan Douglas Dewar made his Scotland 7s debut in November 2008 when he turned out for the team in the Dubai leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series and became a professional at the beginning of the 2011/12 season.

As an 18-year-old, he was in the Rugby Ecosse Scotland squad in the Singapore 7s in October 2007 and in November 2008 he was in the Scottish Thistles’ squad who won the Shield tournament in the Singapore international sevens.

Struan has also played for Scotland under-18, under-19 and under-20. As well as rugby he has won honours in swimming, with two gold medals in relay events in national junior championships.
