Jamie Ritchie

Scotland under-18 captain James Thomas Ritchie attends Strathallan School and plays his club rugby at Howe of Fife RFC.

The former Madras RFC player played for Caledonia and Glasgow Warriors at under-16 and U18 age-grades, while the international honours of the Scottish Institute of Sport supported player began at the Wellington international festival with Scotland U16.

He then progressed into the Scotland squad for the 2012/13 and 13/14 seasons, taking in two FIRA-AER European Championships, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

Outwith rugby, he was a silver medalist at the British judo championships in 2009, the British independent schools judo champion in 2010 and plays 1st XV cricket at his school.

His mum Rhona played hockey for Scottish Schools, his dad, Kerr, swam for Scottish Schools.
