Saul Melvin-Farr

Saul Simon Ohisasokhai Melvin-Farr is the deputy head boy at Edinburgh Academy, and during his time at school has represented Currie RFC, Edinburgh under-16, under-17 and under-18, as well as Scotland U16 vs England South, France and Wales (Wellington International Festival 2013).

He appeared for Scotland under-18 twice at the FIRA Euopean Championships in 2014, and scored his first try – a fantastic solo effort -  for the age-grade side against England at Kingston Park in March 2015.

As part of the Currie under-15 side, Saul experienced League and National Cup success (2011-2012).

He then played for Currie RFC under-16s who emerged winners of the Edinburgh and Borders League (2012-2013), and were named under-16 National Club Cup Champions(2012-2013).

Off the pitch, he showcased his sporting skills by forming part of the winning under-14 Scottish Schools Athletics 4x100m relay team in 2010.

The pacey full-back then repeated this success in the under-17 Scottish Schools Athletics 4x100m relay competition in two years previous. He also formed part of the North Edinburgh under-13 Cricket Team 2010.

Melvin-Farr is a Scottish Institute of Sport supported player (2014/2015).
