Annabel Sergeant

Annabel Sergeant took up rugby at university and was top scorer (tries and points) in the National League in 2006/07.

She played for Scotland Women's development side against France, the Police and Army teams and made her international debut against France, off the bench, in the away opener to the 2011 6 Nations.

Annabel played in all four tournaments during the debut Scotland Women 7s season in 2012, scoring a try and a conversion at the FIRA-AER European qualifier in Ghent and seven tries at the FIRA WRWC qualifier in Moscow. She also took part in the Tobago 7s in December 2012, alongside a number of Scotland Women 7s team mates, as a member of the tournament-winning team. She continued to play in both the 2013 European tournaments and into the 2014 event in Bergen, where she scored a try and a conversion.

Born in Plymouth, her family moved to East Lothian where Annabel attended North Berwick High School. She graduated in microelectronics and photonics from Dundee University and currently works in London in computer fraud investigation.
