Mairi McDonald

Mairi McDonald was selected for the 2017 Scotland Women 7s squad having represented Scotland Women U20 in a test against Belgium in 2016. 

She is currently training in Scottish Rugby's new Performance Development Pathway for talented female athletes aged between 16-20. 

McDonald started playing rugby aged 13 for her school, Hyndland Secondary, and won the Sarah Beaney Cup with her club side Hillhead Jordanhill in 2017. 

She made her full 7s debut at Kazan in 2018.
