Jennifer Rose Maxwell began playing rugby age six, in a mixed minis side, then carried on when she moved to senior school, graduating to the Scotland under-20 side in season 2012/13.
She made her international debut at the FIRA Grand Prix women's 7s tournament in Brive in June 2013 and continued to the Marbella event later that month. She was included in the 2015 squad and was part of the team that lifted the Bowl in Kazan, Russia in leg 1 of the Grand Prix Series.
Her Scotland Women international debut came in the 2015 6 Nations opener against France in La-Roche-sur-Yon.
Jenny continued her education at Leeds Met University, studying Sport and Exercise Science, and qualifies to play for Scotland through her Dumfries-born dad.
