Nikki McLeod

Nikki McLeod was in the Scotland Development squad in 2007/08 and stepped up to the national team in February 2009. As the youngest member of the squad, aged 19, she made her debut as a replacement in the 6 Nations Championship match against France at Arras.

She also made championship appearances as a substitute against Ireland and England and then against the Netherlands as Scotland won the FIRA-AER European Trophy in Enköping, Sweden, in May that year. She played for the North-East of Scotland indoor hockey team in 2006. The former Edinburgh University physical education student was educated at Stuartfield Primary School and Mintlaw Academy.
