Rebecca Parker

Rebecca Maureen Parker began playing in her mid teens for the Wigtownshire club. Rugby runs in her family as her dad, Hugh, played for Scotland B with whom he also toured Zimbabwe and Canada.

Born in Stranraer, she attended Stranraer Academy then went on to Glasgow University where she studied medicine from 2003 to 2008 and captained the university team.

After graduating, she worked for two years before taking two years out to work in Auckland at the Middlemore Hospital and played for the College Rifles team.

She made her international debut off the bench against England in the Women's 6 Nations opener at Esher in February 2013.

Becca is currently working in Glasgow as a GP. Her second cousin is current Scotland under-18 full back/wing, Gavin Parker.
