Sarah Quick

Sarah Jane Quick was in the Scotland A team against France A in Arras in February 2009 and three months later she stepped up to the national squad for the FIRA-AER European Trophy tournament in Sweden in May 2009, coming off the bench against Russia. Her first home game was the win over France in the 6 Nations in 2010.

She took up rugby after her sister began playing, and joined Murrayfield Wanderers aged 12. Continuing to the national under-16 side, she went on to captain Scotland at under-18 and under-20 in season 2010/11.

The Edinburgh-born Penicuik High School former pupil studied sport and exercise at Heriot-Watt University, was a Modern Apprentice with Scottish Rugby then Development Officer for Livingston RFC before becoming women and girls rugby development manager with Scottish Rugby.
