BT Women’s Premier Preview: Stirling County host Cartha Queen’s Park
Glasgow-based Cartha Queen’s Park head to Bridgehaugh on Sunday to take on Stirling County as the two sides play each other for the second time this month, kick-off 2pm.Cartha welcomed Stirling to Dumbreck two weeks ago where they secured a 26-10 victory; their second win from eight games after beating Ayr 5-19 in the first match of the season. However, despite suffering six consecutive losses, Cartha will be confident going into this weekend’s match regardless of playing away from home.Stirling have had a tough season so far, with only six league points to their name, but with Cartha on nine there is the opportunity for Stirling to push in front, which will focus them to secure a victory this weekend with hopes that playing on home turf will tip the balance in their favour. With this being their last match of the calendar year, both sides will be eager to finish on a high note.On Saturday, Hillhead Jordanhill play Stewartry at 12.30pm as the league leaders look to put in another 80-minute performance at Hughenden this weekend.
