Mini Rugby Referee
The Mini Rugby Referee course is aimed at those who referee or game coach mini rugby festivals, up to primary 7 age group. Match Officials must be minimum 14 years of age to complete the course. This course is not mandatory.
Aims
The Mini Rugby Referee course aims to equip people with the fundamental refereeing skills and tools at a mini rugby level.
By the end of the programme you will:
- Understand the age grade law variations and how to apply them in a game context.
- Promote player welfare and manage player behaviours during a game
- Appreciate the principles of mini rugby refereeing

Pre-Course Modules
All coaches must have completed the following before attending the course:
- RugbyRight
- RugbyRight:Safeguarding (MUST be completed by all coaches and match officials working with U18’s or below)
