Domestic fixtures announced for the 2019/20 season.

The fixtures for the forthcoming 2019/20 season have now been released with a new league structure in place following the introduction of Super6 as the top tier of the men’s domestic game.

The Tennent’s Premiership will see the arrival of Musselburgh, Marr, Jed-Forrest, Glasgow Hutchesons’ Aloysians, Selkirk and Aberdeen Grammar and sit underneath Super6, followed by Tennent’s National League Division 1, National 2 and National 3. Below National 3 the leagues separate into regions.

The opening fixtures of the Tennent’s Premiership season will see the ten teams go head-to-head across the country with the opening round of games on 7 September 2019.

Newly promoted Selkirk travel to Glasgow Hawks, while Jed-Forrest host Marr and Currie Chieftains travel to Glasgow Hutchesons’ Aloysians. 2019 National League Cup winners, Aberdeen Grammar, will host Edinburgh Academicals on the Rubislaw pitches. The final fixture of the first round will see newly promoted Musselburgh play Hawick. The date of the Tennent’s Premiership Final is 4 April 2020.

The Scottish Cup dates have also been announced, with the first round taking place on 31 August and the final scheduled for 25 April 2020.

In the women’s leagues, The Women’s Premier League will now be known as the Women’s Tennent’s Premiership. There were a number of changes to the season structure, league start times and a new regional focus following consultation with the clubs.

The league will kick-off on 25 August with league new-comers Ayr welcoming last season’s champions Hillhead Jordanhill, while Cartha Queens Park play Stirling County and Corstorphine will be at home against Watsonians.
