December 11 & 12 | Tennent’s Leagues Preview
Here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming up on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December.
It’s time for round 14 of the men’s Tennent’s Premiership.
Musselburgh’s game at home against Glasgow Hawks has unfortunately been postponed.
League leaders Currie Chieftains, who have only lost one game so far, host Selkirk who sit in sixth place.
There is an all-important clash at the bottom of the table as second bottom Jed-Forest host bottom side Aberdeen Grammar.
Hawick and Edinburgh Accies could both potentially rise to second in the table with a win when they play at Mansfield Park.
But Marr will be hoping to keep that second spot with a win when they host GHA.
This week, Marr v GHA is on Saturday at 2pm, with Currie v Selkirk at 2.30pm. The other two fixtures are at 3pm.
Turning to the men’s Tennent’s National League Division 1, Stirling can close the gap on Ayr, who are one place in the table but 14 points ahead of them, when they face off at Millbrae.
Kelso can draw level on points with their visitors Gala with a bonus point win.
In a tightly contested league table, Highland could go top of the table with a win away to league leaders Heriot’s Blues.
There is a vital encounter at the bottom of the table as second bottom Boroughmuir host third bottom Cartha Queens Park.
Melrose also have the chance to reach the top of the table when they travel to Dundee.
And Watsonians will be looking for a second win of the season when they host second placed Biggar.
This week, Heriot’s v Highland and Dundee v Melrose kick off at 2pm on Saturday. The remaining fixtures all start at 3pm.

In the women’s Tennent’s National League Division 1, Kelso will be looking for a second win of the season when they host Howe of Fife.
League leaders Garioch, who have 49 points out of a possible 50, travel to Annan.
Third placed Stewartry host second placed West of Scotland, with 6 points separating the two sides.
And Ayr and Broughton will both be looking to close the gap on the top half of the table when they face off at Millbrae.
This week, all the games are on Sunday at 2pm.
