In the opening few moments of the game both Glasgow and Edinburgh sides got tries on the score board through Marcus Holden (Glasgow stand-off) and Wallace Nelson (Edinburgh’s openside flanker) with his try converted by Jason Baggott.

Near the half-hour mark young hooker Jerry Blyth-Lafferty went over for the Glasgow side before Edinburgh’s Billy Wara dotted down in the corner from the back of scrum-half Rory Brand’s chip over the top.

HT GLASGOW 10-14 EDINBURGH

Although Edinburgh had the lead at half-time Glasgow hit back with two tries in quick succession from scrum-half Ruaridh Swan and a great team try which was finished off by Logan Trotter.

From a line out Edinburgh’s centre Dom Coetzer pierced a hole in the Glasgow defence. he offloaded to Nyle Godsmark who went in for a score which was converted by Baggott.

In the last few moments of the game Edinburgh ran in a score from within their own 22, Baggott was on hand with the supporting lines to run in a score and win it for the city side.
