May Day! It’s the Final (PRO14) countdown…

May Day kicks off the final countdown to the Guinness PRO14 Final which takes place at Celtic Park in Glasgow on Saturday 25 May – the first time the event has been held outside of a traditional rugby venue.

Scotland’s second-biggest stadium has a capacity of 60,832 and is home to the Scottish Professional Football League champions who are accustomed to hosting footballing royalty.

Big UEFA Champions League nights have brought Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich to Glasgow in recent seasons, with big screens and up-close-to-the-action stands combining to create a fitting backdrop for the crowning moment of the Guinness PRO14.

Title contenders Glasgow Warriors set the standard for Conference A, winning 16 of 21 matches in the regular season – securing a PRO14 record-breaking 15 try-bonus points in the process – to secure safe passage to a home semi-final, where they await the winner of this Saturday’s Ulster v Connacht quarter-final in Northern Ireland (live on Premier Sports).

That last four fixture will take place at Scotstoun on Friday 17 May where they’ll play for a place in a showpiece final just seven miles from home against the eventual winner from the other side of the draw: Leinster, Munster or Benetton Rugby.

The Family Stand has extra entertainment for kids including X-Boxes and play areas so families can to take in the big match together, with offers available like ‘Kid for a Quid’, where U12 tickets are just £1 with a full price adult (limited offer).

Early birds also have the best chance to secure spaces in Celtic Park’s Safe Standing area in the heart of the stadium. Fans are encouraged to act fast as limited space is available for just £30.

There are also offers available to help club and school groups see some of the best rugby players in the northern hemisphere go head to head. To reward adult organisers for their time and effort, the first two tickets for adult chaperones are free (minimum group size of 10).

Specially discounted adult tickets are also available with this. Click here for more information.

Celtic Park’s hospitality facilities are also of an excellent standard and a range of hospitality options are available HERE.
