Tennent’s Premiership and National Leagues

In the Men’s Premiership, Hawick overcame home-side Musselburgh 29-46.

And Marr sealed a solid win over Edinburgh Academical, 38-14.

In the Women’s National 1 competition yellow was the winning colour of the round with both Annan and Garioch securing wins.

At Violetbank, Annan held off visitors Broughton 15-7 whilst Garioch maintained their winning streak in the competition playing away at Kelso, 5-29.

Tennent’s Caledonia Leagues

In Caledonia North Division 3, Shetland traveled south to Kellands Park to face Garioch. Although the visitors put up a strong fight, the home-side took the win, 32-24.

In Caledonia Midlands Division 3, Rosyth Sharks secured their first win of the season hosting Perthshire 2XV at McKane Park in Dunfermline. Full-time score, 40-12.

Across in the Caledonia Midlands/East Women’s league Strathmore and Livingston each gave solid performances to overcome their opposition.

Beating the visitors Grangemouth Stagettes, Strathmore had four individual try scorers; Niamh Feighan, Mhairi Dempster, Kerry Voice and captain Chloe Fraser who also added the extras with her boot.

Livingston made it four from four beating Liberton 0-56 at Doubled Hedges.

Tennent’s West Leagues

In West Division 1, travelling-side Stewartry left Violetbank smiling after a 5-29 win against Annan.

In West Division 2, Oban Lorne enjoyed a home win against Paisley. Full-time score, 28-15.
