Ruaridh Jackson aims to bring balance to his game and the Scotland attack in Sunday’s Rugby World Cup Pool B game against Argentina in Wellington. Jackson, the 23-year-old Glasgow Warriors stand-off, has been chosen ahead of his good friend and mentor Dan Parks for the clash with the Pumas. You don’t need to mention to him the importance of the fixture but his growing maturity is reflected by his response when that topic is raised.  “I’m not really going to go about the game any differently.  There’s evidently going to be a lot of pressure out there as it’s a vital game for us in terms of our campaign but I will be going about it the same way as every week and just hoping it will stand me in good stead and that I will be able to put in as good a performance as possible,” he told www.scottishrugby.org. You can hear Jackson’s interview below. Later in the day, Jackson, Parks, hooker Dougie Hall and prop Euan Murray met up with a former team-mate, ex Glasgow Warriors and Samoa prop Justin Va’a. He is now a youth worker at Epuni care and protection residence in Lower Hutt, where youngsters, mainly in their teenage years, who have had troubled backgrounds receive their education and have somewhere safe to stay. The players took part in a question and answer session with some 18 youngsters with conversation ranging from rugby to the Loch Ness monster!  Then it was a quick rendition of Flower of Scotland, before presenting the pupils with some items of kit. Jackson said: “It was good to visit Epuni.  It was great to see JV again and hopefully our visit was enjoyed by the kids.”
