Stirling County secured their spot in the top half of the table for the playoffs with a commanding 45-27 win over Heriot’s Rugby.
It was Heriot’s who hit the front early on, with Jack Blain grabbing a try after just six minutes after a period of sustained pressure.
A driving maul led to a second try for the visitors, as Iain Wilson spotted a gap in the defence and darted through.
From there, Stirling took control. A mix up after the ball went loose and was hacked on was handled best by Ratu Tagive, who reacted quickly and dotted down.
Then the hosts drew level after line breaks from Logan Trotter and Tagive were eventually finished off by Lewis Skinner.
County took the lead for the first time in the 36th minute. Walter Fifita raced through a gap in the Heriot’s defence and timed the pass well to Marcus Holden, who finished with ease.

Stirling grabbed hold of the game mere seconds into the second half to secure a bonus point, with Connor Gordon finding space on the left and having the speed and strength to get over the line.
A lovely passing move up the left led to Stirling’s fifth try, which was eventually finished off by Sean Kennedy from close range.
Euan McLaren then hauled Heriot’s back into the game after he took a quick tap and go penalty and dived over.
But Logan Trotter continued his recent excellent form, with a huge grin on his face as he sped over to enlarge the gap once more.
In the 65th minute, Sean Kennedy grabbed his second of the game, again from close range after Stirling were camped on the Heriot’s line.
Heriot’s captain Ruairidh Leishman then capitalised on a loose ball to run it in from 40 metres and grab his side a try bonus point.
And the capital side grabbed their fifth, and the final score of the game, as Iain Wilson went over from another driving maul.

Bulls opened the scoring through a well-worked try by Lewis McNamara in the corner.
The visitors responded shortly after when full-back Harry Patterson burst through a gap to score with Lee Miller converting. Miller extended their lead on the 16th minute with a penalty between the posts.
Bulls pulled ahead when scrum-half Cam Jones threw a dummy for the defence and Christian Townsend converted.
With a half hour gone, Patterson used his pace to score a second for Watsonians before Matt Currie scored another for the visitors five minutes later with Miller adding one of the conversions.
They scored their fourth of the afternoon before half-time when scrum-half Rory Brand was able to step the last defender and go over, Miller adding the conversion again.
HALF-TIME: Ayrshire Bulls 12-29 Watsonians
Ten minutes into the second-half Bulls started to pull back when Lewis McNamara powered over with Townsend adding the conversion.
The hosts got their bonus point near the hour mark when Robert Beattie was able to support well to go over the try-line with Townsend adding the extra two-points on offer.

Hosts Boroughmuir Bears opened the score of the game within the first 10minutes when centre Robbie McCallum backed himself to beat four defenders and run over the whitewash.
Knights hit back shortly after when stand-off Nathan Chamberlain slotted a penalty with ease.
Bears extended their lead when stand-off Harry Mercer put in a lovely show and go to dance in over the try line, with Adam Scott adding the conversion.
Winger Aidan Cross scored his first try of the evening for the Knights when he raced in for a try, but McCallum hit back for his second of the evening (converted by Scott) before Knights scrum-half Ben Afshar closed the scoring before half-time.
HALF-TIME: Boroughmuir Bears 19-13 Southern Knights
There were only three scores in the second half with Glen Faulds diving in at the corner for the hosts in the opening five minutes.
Mzwadile Mncube powered over for Bears with less than ten minutes to go with Scott adding the conversion.
Knights winger Cross backed himself from 50-metres out for a consolation try for the visitors with only moments left in the game.
