Glasgow schools visit Scotland 7s

Schools pupils from across Glasgow were given an afternoon with a difference yesterday (29 April), when they were allowed out of class to attend an open training session with the Scotland 7s team.Stonelaw High School, Abercorn Secondary School, Royston Primary School, St Angela’s Primary School and Howford Primary School were all in attendance to watch the team prepare for this weekend’s Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s (3-4 May). The pupils also had a chance to meet the players and get autographs and pictures with the team. One pupil who was particularly enthuasiastic about the visit was Douglas from Stonelaw High School who only discovered rugby four months ago.
