Hot Rod Drives Scotland 7S Onward
30 May 2009
Scotland 7s recorded a famous 33-17 win over old foes, England at Murrayfield with Edinburgh quartet, John Houston, Greig Laidlaw, Roddy Grant and Andrew Turnbull all scoring breathtaking tries.Remember you can still come and watch the match against Canada (kick off 7.04pm)_and also Sunday’s grand finale click here for more details. Despite two tries from Grant, Scotland 7s narrowly lost their next game against Kenya with the African team scoring with the final act of the match to snatch a win.Scotland 7s put in a spirited display, but Hogg was yellow-carded just before the break and Kenya’s athleticism and finishing prowess gave them the upper hand.
