House of Fraser the perfect fit for Scotland team
26 Nov 2014
Scottish Rugby are pleased to announce that it will continue the season in resplendent fashion, after the appointment of House of Fraser as the official formalwear partner of the Scotland national team for the next two years. The partnership is the perfect fit for the two iconic Scottish organisations, formed in 1873 and 1849 respectively, and will see the Howick brand, through House of Fraser, tailor the senior squad, management and coaching staff, as well as Scottish Rugby Board and Council, to be worn to after match and official functions.Scotland team manager, Gavin Scott, said:This is a massive season for the Scotland team, which takes in 12 international matches leading up to the game’s flagship championship, the Rugby World Cup.It’s important the whole team and officials are well presented and continue the high standards we seek to deliver for our country on the field. We’re delighted House of Fraser are on board and look forward to developing our relationship with them in the coming seasons.Commenting on the deal, Tony Holdway, Brand Director at House of Fraser, said: Howick has enjoyed a great partnership with Scottish Rugby to date, and we are thrilled to get involved in an even deeper way through this continued collaboration.Howick is exclusive to House of Fraser, influenced by rugby and it’s supporters, and thus lends itself to being a rugby sponsor.”The new deal will also see key retails outlets in Edinburgh (Jenners and West End), Glasgow and Loch Lomond become stockists of extensive and exclusive ranges of Scotland clothing and merchandise, building on the existing relationship with Glasgow Warriors.Pictured: Scotland players Sean Lamont, Stuart Hogg, Mark Bennett, Greig Laidlaw, Geoff Cross after their viagogo Autumn Test win over Argentina earlier this month.
