Her first game of this season’s Championship is a vital one for the Scots as they chase their first win of the tournament and Scotland Women’s coach Lee Adamson is confident his side can impress in front of a home crowd. This weekend is massive for Scottish rugby as many of our representative teams are facing their English counterparts this weekend, he said. Edinburgh will be buzzing come Saturday and so will we. We’ve got a great opportunity to get the day off to a good start with a result against England on Saturday and it would be a real boost to the players to see some of those in Edinburgh for the big game at Murrayfield, along at Meggetland getting behind the team. In addition to Kerr’s inclusion, Adamson has made four changes, two of which are positional, to the team that faced Wales a fortnight ago. Cara D’Silva has moved to the opposite wing to make room for Tanya Griffith who is promoted from the bench. In the pack, Adamson has opted for consistency in his front row. His only changes see Lana Blyth move from the back-row to lock and welcome Sonia Cull back into the all-RHC back-row after outings against France and Wales so far in the campaign.
