The Scotland under-18 Head Coach, Eddie Pollock, has selected a 26-man squad for the age-group’s final training camp, ahead of their first game of the season, against England in two weeks’ time. This camp will be the last chance for players to stake their selection claim ahead of the match at Kingston Park, home of Newcastle Falcons, on Sunday 8 March (kick-off 5.30pm). Pollock said: “This camp will provide us with a clearer picture of the squad that will head down to Newcastle, to compete against England, in one of the warm up games used to select our team for the Rugby Europe Championships in Toulouse. “The tournament is ultimately what we have in our sights but the game against the England is always a huge challenge at any level and one everyone is looking forward to.” Prior to the Rugby Europe Championships, Scotland under-18 will also play an Ireland Schools side, in tandem with the Scotland senior side’s tie against Ireland, on Saturday 21 March at Mayfield, Dundee (kick-off 11am).Scotland under-18 squad for training camp on Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 FebruaryForwards Hamish Bain (George Watson’s College / Currie) Harry Borthwick (Berwick/Newcastle Falcons) Fergus Bradbury (Merchiston Castle School) Alex Craig (Hartpury College/Gloucester) Michael Dewar  (Abingdon School/Wasps) Matthew Fagerson (Strathallan School) Bruce Flockhart (Strathallan School/Highland)* Andrew Grant-Suttie (Loretto School/North Berwick) Callum Hunter-Hill (Stewart’s Melville FP)* Adam Nicol (Dunfermline RFC) Fraser Renwick (Hawick High School/Hawick Wanderers) Blair Robertson (Kelso Harlequins) Jack Solman (Sedbergh School) George Thornton (Moulton College/Market Harborough)Backs Connor Eastgate (Henley College/Wasps) Darcy Graham (Hawick High School/Hawick Wanderers) Alastair Greig (Stewart’s Melville College/Stewart’s Melville FP) Gregor Haldane (Stowe School/Northampton Saints) Grant Huggan (Hawick Wanderers) Blair Kinghorn (Edinburgh Academy/Edinburgh Academicals)* Ross McCann (Royal High School/ RHC Cougars)* Saul Melvin-Farr (Edinburgh Academy/Edinburgh Academicals)* Robbie Nairn (George Watson’s College/Currie)* Craig Pringle (Loretto School/Melrose)* Charlie Shiel (Royal High School/RHC Cougars)* Jamie Troup (Strathallan School)  *sportscotland institute of sport supported player 2014/15
