Murray, first capped against Australia in November 1997, will be winning his 83rd cap. Speaking at a media conference at Murrayfield, the Edinburgh lineout colossus stressed his priority was to play his part in securing a Scotland victory. It’s obviously another cap for my country and that’s the main thing. It’s fairly awesome to think of breaking the record. Going back ten years ‘d never have imagined I’d reach this position. Now isn’t the time to be enjoying it, though. The only thing in my mind at the moment is going out and putting in a good performance on Saturday, he added.
