November 27 & 28 | Tennent’s Leagues Preview

​Here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming up on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November.

It’s time for round 12 of the men’s Tennent’s Premiership.

Musselburgh host Selkirk with the hosts knowing that victory would take them about their visitors in the table.

But if Musselburgh lose, Jed-Forest will leapfrog them in the table if they can win at home to Edinburgh Academical.

Hawick could break into the top three with a victory when they host Gala.

Aberdeen Grammar will be seeking a first win of the season when they host Glasgow Hawks.

And there is an all-important clash at the top of the table as league leaders Currie Chieftains travel to Marr.

This week, Jed v Edinburgh Accies and Hawick v Gala are at 3pm. The other games are at 2pm.

Turning to the men’s Tennent’s National League Division 1, Gala, who have lost just one game so far this season, travel to Stirling Wolves.

Ayr could go top with a win over Highland, who themselves could jump up to second with victory.

Kelso also have a chance to go second with a victory over Cartha Queens Park.

League leaders Heriot’s Blues host third placed Melrose at Goldenacre.

At the bottom of the table, second bottom Boroughmuir host bottom side Watsonian’s.

And Biggar also have a chance to get up to second in an extremely competitive league when they travel to Dundee.

This week, Heriot’s v Melrose and Dundee v Biggar take place at 2pm. The other fixtures take place at 3pm.

In the women’s Tennent’s Premiership, Cartha Queens Park will be looking for a second win of the season when they host Heriot’s Blues.

League leaders Watsonian’s host Stirling, who could climb into the top half of the table with a win.

And Corstorphine and Hillhead Jordanhill could both go top of the table with a victory.

This week, all the fixtures are on Sunday at 2pm.

In the women’s Tennent’s National League Division 1, Kelso will be hoping for a second win of the season when they host Stewartry.

Third-bottom Broughton will be hoping to close the gap on their visitors Howe of Fife, who sit in fourth.

Unbeaten league leaders Garioch travel to second placed West of Scotland.

And Annan will also be hoping to pick up a second win of the season when they travel to Ayr.

This week, all the fixtures take place on Sunday at 2pm.
