Parks Optimistic That Scotland Can Still Make Mark In Championship
14 Feb 2012
Dan Parks, who retired from international rugby last week, spoke today of his belief that Scotland can still win their remaining three games in this year’s RBS 6 Nations Championship. In an exclusive interview with www.scottishrugby.org Parks also spoke of his affection for the country and the city of Glasgow which was his home for many years and his desire to move into coaching when he finally hangs up his boots. He said: If it was not for the start of the second-half (against Wales) we were certainly in with a really good shout of winning that match. Wales are a quality team mind you but we had our chances. I’m hugely optimistic for the future. We have three more games in the championship and I can see us going out and winning these three games as long as the guys stay positive.
