Over the weekend, Scotland rugby players from across the various national squads, along with Scottish Rugby staff, visited ten clubs to lend a hand for their Royal Bank RugbyForce event and help bring in more support from club members and volunteers from the local community.

Royal Bank RugbyForce is a grassroots initiative run by Royal Bank of Scotland in association with Scottish Rugby. The programme is designed to help clubs up and down the country to attract and retain members, develop their facilities and make their club more sustainable for the future.

There was once again a great number of clubs sending in submissions for 2019, with over 140 clubs making an application. Of this number, eighteen clubs (including the two Hero Clubs) will receive a grant of £1,000 with a further 95 clubs receiving £250.
