Scotland have the arduous task of taking on three southern hemisphere giants in the pool B group of death in a tournament that sees over 20 international matches played each dayAustralia, South Africa and Argentina stand in Scotland’s way of a sixth consecutive quarter final but having beating all three of their opponents so far this year, the Scots have cause for optimism. Under the guidance of Scotland’s most successful sevens coach, Stephen Gemmell, the Scots reached their fifth cup quarter-final at Twickenham last weekend with convincing victories over Kenya (17-5) and Russia (31-7). The Scots will be looking to build on the success of the two excellent victories and the performances put in against Fiji and South Africa to go one step further and reach the elusive semi-final spot infront of the home fans. The tournament runs from 9am – 6.30pm on Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sunday. Scotland kick-off times 11:46am Scotland v Australia 2:30pm Scotland v South Africa 5:58pm Scotland v Argentina For the Emirates Airline Edinburgh Sevens, tickets are still available for purchase from the Scottish Rugby Union ticket office located next to Murrayfield Stadium, at Gate A off Roseburn Street. Ticket prices are: One day adult -£15 One day children/concession -£5 The ticket office will be open from 08:30 19:00 on Saturday, 31 May and 09:30 18:30 on Sunday, 1 June. Inside the stadium there will be food and drink available for purchase on both match days.
