The Scotland team will face Canada at Pittodrie today with Aberdeen serving up a dusting of snow but Scottish Rugby would like to assure fans that today’s game will go ahead. Groundsmen at Pittodrie Stadium have been working overnight to ensure that the pitch is in a playable condition for today’s Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Test match against Canada – including painting the pitch markings bright red for increased visibility.The Scotland team will face Canada at Pittodrie today with Aberdeen serving up a dusting of snow but Scottish Rugby would like to assure fans that today’s game will go ahead. Undersoil heating, a requirement of all SPL clubs, has ensured that the ground has remained soft despite the snowfall. Grampian Police match commander and the Aberdeen FC safety officer have both looked at the pitch this morning and the game will go ahead.
