He has been reviewed today at Spire Murrayfield Hospital and will now be in the care of shoulder specialist Miss Julie McBirnie for further assessment, which will give us a better indication of his rehabilitation schedule.”Dr Robson added: “In addition to Ross’s injury there is the usual array of assorted soft tissue disruption associated with Test match rugby of yesterday’s intensity.”As ever, 48 hours post a match of such physicality will give us a better indication of how players are recovering.”Among the Scotland casualties are props Geoff Cross (ribs) and Ryan Grant (back), hooker Scott Lawson (shoulder), lock Jim Hamilton (dead leg), centres Matt Scott (shoulder) and Nick De Luca (calf) and wing Tim Visser (flank).Scotland’s next rugby training session is tomorrow afternoon. You can still buy tickets for the EMC Tests against South Africa at Murrayfield this Saturday and against Tonga at Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen on Saturday 24 November (kick-off 3pm).Tickets for both remaining matches can be bought now online at www.scottishrugby.org; via the 24-hour credit card hotline 0844 335 3933 or in person from the Scottish Rugby ticket centre at Murrayfield Stadium which is open 9am-5pm, Mondays to Fridays.Ticket prices:Scotland v South Africa, Saturday 17 November, Murrayfield, kick-off 2.30pmAdults:£20,£30,£50Under-18s and students:£10,£15 and£25Scotland v Tonga, Saturday 24 November, Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen, kick-off 3pmAdults:£15,£25 and£40Under-18s and students:£7.50,£12.50 and£20Group offer for schools and all clubs – Eight under-18s with two adults can attend an EMC Test for£40.
