Scotland don’t just play England this weekend but also New Zealand, Samoa and Japan.  Those last three, though, not in the cauldron of Murrayfield but the expanse of the Westpac Stadium in the HSBC Sevens World Series. A world apart maybe but both national sides will be keeping a close eye on the other as they bid for victory. And in just a few short months the sevens squad will be back home and in front of a home crowd for the Glasgow leg of the series. To help generate a buzz as the format reaches its climax in May, Scottish Rugby is giving supporters the chance to buy tickets inside Murrayfield for the very first time.  A special trailer is being put in place behind the East Stand of the stadium where fans can pick up tickets for the eagerly anticipated weekend of sevens action.Scotland 7s head coach Graham Shiel said: “I’d like to wish the Scotland team all the best for the Calcutta Cup match on Saturday afternoon as I know our guys get great support from all the squad as we travel from competition to competition.  “It’s great to hear that fans will get the chance to buy tickets for the Glasgow7s inside Murrayfield, we’d love to see Scotstoun packed out when we get there for our home tournament in May.”Dominic McKay, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Scottish Rugby, said: “A lot of our focus is on making things as easy for the supporter as we can.  We’re going to have 67,000 fans here at Murrayfield on Saturday and there will be a lot of them who want to get to the Glasgow7s at Scotstoun or who hope to pick up a ticket for the France game – if there are any left.”It’s the first time we’ve done this and we hope fans seize on the opportunity by visiting the ticket trailer behind the East Stand.”It’s an exciting time for Scottish Rugby and particularly for the Scottish leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series, with the move to a new home in the West of the country and a new audience to embrace the game first invented in Melrose in 1883.”It’s become something of a tradition, for those willing, to come to the sevens in fancy dress and those coming to the Glasgow7s are being encouraged to find their inner frontiersman, or women, and dress for the Wild West. The Glasgow7s take place on May 5 and 6 and tickets are already on sale at just£10 for adults for either day, part of the Early Bird offer which runs until the end of the RBS 6 Nations. For the first thousand who buy their ticket for the summer event, they’ll get a FREE hat or scarf to keep them warm for the rest of the RBS 6 Nations! For all the latest news on the Glasgow7s, go to www.glasgow7s.com or follow on Twitter @Glasgow7s
