Scotland will open the penultimate leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series, the Emirates Airline London Sevens, one week before the Series climax at and international party lands at Murrayfield in the last weekend in May. In the London leg, the Scots will take on Series champions Samoa in the 10.30am tie before lining up against defending cup holders Australia (1.58pm) and completing Pool C against Canada (4.54pm) to determine their fate on day two.   Scotland 7s head coach, Graham Shiel, said: “It’s undoubtedly a tough group with Samoa and Australia both very strong but particular attention has to be paid to the recent showing of Canada this season who were very impressive in Hong Kong when they won the Bowl. “We’re going to have to fight for it but with a strong squad we will be targeting qualification from the group and into the Cup quarter-final and take winning momentum into the final leg at Murrayfield. “It’s very exciting that our focus now turns the final two events closer to home where the interest and the exposure in the sevens game really picks up.
