Scotland 7s head coach, Graham Shiel, said: “It’s undoubtedly a tough group with Samoa and Australia both very strong but particular attention has to be paid to the recent showing of Canada this season who were very impressive in Hong Kong when they won the Bowl. “We’re going to have to fight for it but with a strong squad we will be targeting qualification from the group and into the Cup quarter-final and take winning momentum into the final leg at Murrayfield. Tickets for this fast and furious festival of rugby are on sale now and are priced from£5 for under-18s,£10 for students and senior citizens and£20 for adults. All tickets are any day tickets  – valid for one day of your choice, either Saturday 28 May or Sunday 29 May. Buy a ticket and join the party “It’s very exciting that our focus now turns to the final two events closer to home where the interest and the exposure in the sevens game really picks up. “A number of the clubs in Scotland are now getting into sevens season so to have the World Series coming to the home of seven-a-side rugby is hugely important for everyone involved in rugby in Scotland.” Tournament hosts and Dubai Cup winners England currently lie second in the World Series standings and head Pool B with matches against Argentina, USA and France.
