Scotland Women Face Wales In European Championships

Scotland Women will play their quarter final match up against Wales tomorrow, Saturday 17 May, at the FIRA-AER European Championships. In the other quarter finals England play Sweden, Ireland are drawn against Spain and France face a tough contest against hosts Holland.Scotland Women will play their quarter final match up against Wales tomorrow, Saturday 17 May, at the FIRA-AER European Championships. The match will kick off at 5.30pm at the National Rugby Centre in Amsterdam. If Scotland Women come out victorious they will play the semi finals on Tuesday, against either France or Holland. The tournament will mark the first outing of new head coach, Jamie Dempsey and he will be doing his utmost to ensure Scotland hit the ground running against Wales. Amongst the replacements is uncapped Ruth Slaven (Murrayfield Wanderers) who will be hoping to make an appearance at some point during the match.
