Scotland Women name squad for Canada Test

20 Nov 2018

Scotland Women Head Coach Shade Munro today named the squad from which the team to play Canada a week today will be selected.

The final selected group taking to the pitch at Scotstoun on Tuesday 27 November, will be captained again by Lisa Thomson (Darlington Mowden Park RFC) following her role in the recent game versus Italy.

Scotland Women welcome several new additions to the squad who faced Italy.

Jade Konkel (Harlequins) will be returning, alongside Watsonians Charlotte Runcie who will be vying for her first cap.

Scotland Women Head Coach, Shade Munro, said: “The squad have worked really hard over the last few weeks following our match in Italy. There are a host of new and experienced players in the squad this week, all ready to push themselves against Canada.

“Thank you to Scottish Rugby and everyone at Scotstoun for hosting us again. We have enjoyed being able to call the Glasgow venue our home over the last year and hope that the crowd will back us on the pitch and bring the atmosphere that Scotstoun is famous for.”
