Rugby World Cup have today confirmed the venues for pool matches for their seventh tournament later this year following their announcement earlier this month that the New Zealand city Christchurch would be unable to host the matches that had been scheduled there. The news means that Scotland now have confirmed venues for all our games in Pool B. Scotland’s schedule:- Saturday 10 September v Romania at Rugby Park, Invercargill, kick-off 1pm local time- Wednesday 14 September v Georgia at Rugby Park, Invercargill, kick-off 7.30pm local time- Sunday 25 September v Argentina at Wellington Regional Stadium, Wellington, kick-off 8.30pm local time- Saturday 1 October v England at Eden Park, Auckland, kick-off 8.30pm local time. Scotland head coach Andy Robinson said: “We look forward to finalising our plans given the clarity we now have from the tournament organisers.  We know there will be much excitement in Invercargill that we will now play two games there and we look forward to engaging with the community in Wellington which is now home to our match against Argentina.” Martin Snedden, CEO of tournament organiser, Rugby New Zealand 2011, said: “Today’s decisions provide the certainty for the affected teams, their fans and media around the rescheduled matches.  This has been a complex logistical process, but with the help of our tournament partners, the arrangements are now complete. Ticket purchasers for all matches originally scheduled for Christchurch and/or the Scotland v Georgia match which was originally scheduled for Dunedin, will receive a refund and the opportunity to secure replacement tickets to the relevant rescheduled match/es during a priority purchase period.  Full details, including the full confirmed fixture list can be found on www.rugbyworldcup.com.
