Scotland Women A 48 – 0 British Police – Sat 27 February 2010. On a very cold afternoon at Murrayfield Scotland Women A kept warm by holding firm in defence and striking first when No.8 Keri Holdsworth went over for the first try, which was then converted by Scrum-Half Lisa Martin. Again some good defence stopped the Police from scoring, there reward was another try, this time it came from Full-Back Ciara Baxter.  Martin converted again to give the women a 14 point lead just before break, in a first half that was dominated by a strong defensive display by both teams.    Half- time: 14 – 0 It did not take long for Scotland to get going again in the second-half, with Winger Sarah Dixon scoring a try after just 3 minutes.  Dixon then went on to score a further three tries in the match, but Martin was only able to convert one of those tries. Martin made amends for those earlier conversion misses when she scored a try to give her side a daunting 41 point lead. To round off the game Centre Katy Green scored her first try of the match and Scotland’s eighth of the day, the conversion by Martin meant the full-time score was a convincing 48 – 0 to the home side.
