Scottish Rugby has, today, confirmed that one of Scotland’s leading car retailers, Peter Vardy Ltd, will become the organisation’s new vehicle partner.The partnership will see Peter Vardy Ltd join Scottish Rugby on a three-year deal.Today, colleagues from Peter Vardy Ltd launched the new venture with members of the Scotland national team and Scottish Rugby’s Director of Commercial Operations, Communications and Public Affairs, Dominic MacKay.McKay said: “We’re delighted to have Peter Vardy Limited on board as our most recent addition to our family of blue chip sponsors that include RBS, Macron and BT, among others.”Peter Vardy Limited is a growing business synonymous with success in Scotland. We look forward to working together.Our commercial activity has grown significantly in recent years and the strength of our brand globally and nationally is an important factor in sponsors joining our family.”As part of the relationship Peter Vardy Ltd will provide Scottish Rugby with a fleet of Vauxhall vehicles. The cars will predominantly be used by coaching staff to assist in the development and growth of the game at club and school level across Scotland, from the Highlands and Islands all the way down to the Borders.The first presence Peter Vardy Ltd will have with Scottish Rugby will be at this weekend’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match against England, where a selection of vehicles will be on display behind the east stand and near the ticket centre.
