Scottish Schools’ Cup 2017/18 semi-final draw

The matches for the semi-final round of the 2017/18 Scottish Schools’ Cup, Shield, Plate and Bowl at U18 and U16 have been drawn.

In the U18 Cup competition last year’s finalists Stewart’s Melville and Dollar Academy are still in the reckoning to meet at BT Murrayfield in the final.

Both of last year’s U18 Shield finalists have made it to the quarter-finals of the Cup and could meet in the final should they progress.

Trinity Academy are the only confirmed side in the U18 Plate semi-finals and they will take on the winner of Ardrossan Schools and Marr College.

The U18 bowl competition will see Linlithgow Academy head north to play Kingussie in a confirmed fixture with Breadalbane/Blairgowrie/Pitlochry High Schools also representing Caledonia.

In the U16 competitions Stewart’s Melville will play Strathallan School or The Edinburgh Academy in the Cup semi-finals while Royal High School host Lathallan School in the Plate.

The U16 Shield semi-finalists are yet to be confirmed but Oban High School and Auchinleck Acadmey have already booked their spots in this round of the Bowl.
