The teams that will play in the under-16 and under-18 Scottish Rugby Youth Leagues, have been confirmed as the competitions enter their second year.Defending champions of the under-16 and under-18 Scottish Rugby Youth Leagues Ayr, have committed a side to both leagues, as have Boroughmuir, Currie, Falkirk, Stirling County, GHA and West of Scotland.There will be three teams in the under-16 league – Boroughmuir, GHA and Strathaven – all competing in the division for the first time.In addition to this Currie, GHA, Mackie, Madras, Musselburgh, Perthshire and Royal High School are all entering the under-18 Scottish Rugby  Youth League after not being involved last season.Scottish Rugby’s  Head of Clubs and Schools Nick Rennie, said: ” Due to the great success and popularity of the inaugural leagues this season, we have re-established the two leagues for the 2014-15 season.”We are sure that this very successful league system will once again provide more intense quality weekly fixtures for some of the best youth sides, and players alike, in Scotland.”It’s great to see that teams are willing to commit to the league to test themselves against other sides from around the country.”Between the two leagues, 26 teams will compete, nine sides in the under-16 league and 17 clubs in the senior under-18 division.All teams from both leagues will play 16 games, the under-16s playing a home and away fixture against all other sides and the under-18s playing one full round of games.Matches will be played on traditional fixture days, the under-16 games taking place on Sunday with the under-18s playing on Saturdays, unless both clubs have come to a mutual agreement for the match to be rescheduled.League duties will commence on Saturday 30 August, with the competition expected to run through to January, depending on weather conditions.Teams competing in theScottish Rugby under-16 Youth LeagueAyr                                                                                                                             BoroughmuirCurrieEast KilbrideFalkirkGHAStirling CountyStrathavenWest of Scotland Teams competing in the Scottish Rugby under-18 Youth LeagueAyrBoroughmuirCurrieDumfriesDunfermlineEllonFalkirkGHAHamiltonHighlandMackieMadrasMusselburghPerthshireRoyal High SchoolStirling CountyWest of Scotland
