This week, we are proudly supporting Active Scotland's Women and Girls in Sport week, you can find lots of useful information and opportunities to get involved on social media using the hashtag #SheCanSheWill.

Active Girls Day is celebrated on Friday 30 October with a focus on girls staying active and staying connected, find out more.

Inspired by Scotland’s performance at the weekend? There’s lots of different ways you can get involved in rugby, it’s a game for everyone.

Take a look at our coaching and refereeing courses or get in contact with your local rugby club to see how you can get
involved. If you or your children would like to start playing rugby, there is a
type of rugby and a level of competition to suit everyone. It’s a fantastic way
to keep fit, improve your mental well-being and develop transferrable skills.

We celebrate women and girls in sport all year round, and while you can’t get out there and play or help out at your local club as usual, we’ll continue to bring you content on our digital channels to inspire, educate and entertain you through these uncertain times.

​Powering Conversation with SP Energy Networks

Scottish Rugby has launched a new video content series in partnership with SP Energy Networks. Powering Conversation with SP Energy Networks will feature inspiring women from the world of rugby and beyond. Hosted by Scotland Captain Rachel Malcolm, the series will reach outside the typical discussion on women’s sport and provide an insight into the sporting journeys and lives of our guests.

Host Rachel Malcolm said: “I’m very excited about the launch of this new series in partnership with SP Energy Networks. There are so many incredible stories within women’s rugby and sport, and it’s great to have a space where we can showcase and champion these role models.”

“It’s so important that we have a platform where sportswomen can share their journeys in the hope that we can try and inspire young girls to reach their potential.”
