Scotland narrowly defeated in final day of Welsh tournament
At the weekend Scotland’s two Under 16 sides were in action in Wales in the last day of the Conwy International Rugby Festival in Wales. The Blues were first up against Welsh Academicals who defeated the Reds earlier in the tournament. The Blues fought hard but ultimately lost 28-19.In the second match, the Reds came out of the blocks all guns blazing against RGC and were leading 12-5 at the break following two scintillating scores from Euan Henderson. In the second period though, RGC began to dominate and ran out 20-12 winners, completing an impressive comeback.Despite being unable to pick up a win during the tournament, it provided a great learning environment for players who are the future of Scottish Rugby.
