Scotland Under 16s lose out in first day of Welsh tournament
Scotland Under 16s are competing in Conwy International Rugby Festival in Wales this week and yesterday both the Reds and the Blues lost out. The Reds were first up taking on the Welsh Academies and they were 10-7 down at the break following a try from Kyle Scott with Rufus McLean getting the conversion.In the second period the Welsh side began to dominate and ended up winning 29-12 with Euan Henderson dotting down for Scotland following a spirited performance.In the next match, the Blues took the field and lost out 22-5 against Wales RGC. Jordan Miller was the man who dotted down for Scotland.Scotland’s two sides are back in action on Wednesday, with the Reds taking on France East before the Blues compete with France West.On Saturday, Wales RGC play against the Reds and the Blues face the Welsh Academies.Scotland Reds: 1.
