Freddy Douglas

Freddy played for Stewart’s Melville College team from 2009-2023, before joining Edinburgh Rugby’s FOSROC Scottish Rugby academy. He also had a stint with Edinburgh Vikings from 2018-2021. He was part of the FOSROC Future XV in 2023. Freddy represented Scotland Under-18’s in Dublin in 2023. He also used to compete in shot putt.

Fraser Wilson

He then moved to join Hawick at the start of the 2023/2024 season He played for Scotland U17 in a development camp against England. He also represented Scotland U18 in the Six Nations festival in 2023.

Euan McVie

After leaving school, he joined Premiership side Edinburgh Accies before moving to FOSROC Super Series side Heriot’s Rugby, where he played during the 2023 FOSROC Super Series Sprint. At the start of the 2023/24 season, McVie was named as one of the fifteen FOSROC Scottish Rugby contracted academy players aligned with Glasgow Warriors.

Ryan Burke

He attended Douglas Academy and played for West of Scotland before joining Glasgow Hawks. Burke was named as one of Glasgow Warriors’ contracted FOSROC Scottish Rugby academy players in 2023. He made nine appearances for the FOSROC Future XV side during the 2023 FOSROC Super Series Championship.

Theo Currie

He went to Glebelands School and then Gordon’s School, where he studied A-Levels in Maths, Physics and History. At age 15 he joined Harlequins and was then contacted with the senior academy. Outside rugby, Theo enjoys golfing and surfing.

Alex O’Driscoll

Alex featured in the Wasps academy, before switching to the Saracens academy and converting from back-row to prop. He currently plays for Loughborough University, where he is studying for a degree in International Relations.
