Nick Haining

Back-Row

Guinness Six Nations – Scotland v France

Australian-born Nick Haining joined Edinburgh from Bristol Bears ahead of the 2019/20 season following two years at Ashton Gate, and qualifies to play for Scotland through his Dundee-born grandmother.

Having joined Edinburgh in 2019, Haining was named in his first international squad in early 2020, making his debut in a Guinness Six Nations game against Ireland in Dublin.

Originally a winger in his youth, the powerful Haining has developed into a ball-carrying back-row who has featured in the past two international seasons, including coming off the bench to help secure Scotland’s memorable win in Paris in March 2021, a result 22 years in the making.
